"Dong Xuan Market, another market in Hanoi. With it's French influenced architectural facade, the market is the largest covered market in Hanoi selling men and women clothes, children clothes, footwear, lingerie, hats, watches, handicrafts, beads, fabrics, household goods, food and drinks. Dong Xuan was built in 1889 by the French administration. In 1994 the market was nearly destroyed by a fire engulfed most of the building, it was then rebuilt following the original design."
