1st Syawal 1433h falls on the 20th August 2012. For the first time in a long time we finally get to celebrate Hari Raya Aidiftiri as a complete family, and not only that, its extra special for my Father as well..its his 55th Birthday and also his retirement..Before heading off to visit Wife's parents and our Grandparents, we had a early morning birthday celebration for my Father.

Cardiff Memories | Talybont Sports Centre

'Cardiff University Talybont Sports Centre..'

Cardiff University Sports Centre, usually used during a one day event, the Malaysian Cardiff Games. The facility has two very large multipurpose halls, offices, showers and several small rooms. The Games consists of various sports such as football and netball, badminton and table tennis, basketball, scrabble, chess and even 'congkak'. Other than the one day event held every year during Easter, it's also used regularly during weekends by Brunei students for football and netball matches and also training for events such as the Brunotts held in Nottingham, Winter Games in London and the Malaysian Cardiff Games.

Cardiff Memories | 163 Malefant Street

'Photo was taken in 2009 using my Nikon D90 with 18-200mm lens fixed with a fish eye adapter that I just bought from Ebay the previous day.'

163 Malefant Street, Cardiff, CF24 4QG. It was in 2006 and my first year in Uni was coming to an end and we needed to move out of the 'ghetto' like place we were living in at that time. I officially moved in September 2006 after the summer holidays along with four of my closest friends. Even though gas, water and electric bills wasn't included, at a rate of 170 pounds per month it was amongst the cheapest rents around the area. Middle of 2008, our landlord decided to combine all utility bills and the rent together to 230 pounds per month, with no objection we accepted the rate change and it was still cheaper than others.

About 25-30 minute walk to city centre, not that far and not a problem for us. We loved that house, friendly and kind landlord, lots of memories, a fun place to live in. Plus, when we moved in back in 2006, that place has been rented by Brunei students for more than 10 years. Amongst the five that moved in at the time, I was the last to leave in 2009 and since then the place continued to be rented by Brunei students. I hope that place has brought lots of joy to others during their stay at 163 Malefant Street.

Camera Shop | Jessops

Not sure if I've posted this photo or not. This photo was taken sometime in 2009 during my final year in Cardiff, Wales. Jessops, a well known shop selling all kinds of camera accessories, from DSLR to compact cameras to handycams, from lenses to filters and memory cards, bags, tripods, studio accessories, photo printing and many more. Jessops is one of shops I usually stop by every time going into town. About 90 percent of the time dropping by is just window shopping. Even though I spent about 30mins to an hour just browsing through the shop, talking to the technician or even trying out a few lenses, I've really learned a lot.
